Their need
Faced with an estimated rate of untreated visual impairment of over 80% in sub-Saharan Africa, Angola has launched an ambitious project: to build a National Ophthalmology Centre in Luanda, also integrating dental and ENT services. The goal is to sustainably improve the quality of ophthalmic and public health care in the country.
Our Solution
Bpifrance Assurance Export guaranteed the financing of the project, carried out via a buyer's credit agreement established in April 2024. This guarantee enabled the French SME SFEH, a specialist in turnkey hospital projects, to successfully complete its operation while securing its contract thanks to an interruption guarantee. Bpifrance played a key role in the successful completion of this strategic project.
