Bercy France Export – An edition focused on the future and marked by 80 years of commitment to exports

At Bercy on February 3rd, during his opening speech, Roland Lescure, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, reiterated a strong conviction: "Export is not an option: it is a strength. It is an economic and geopolitical necessity."

With a clear message: "Public guarantees are an essential lever" for consolidating France's international presence. Measures designed to support the international competitiveness of French companies: launch of Shopping Line, revamped Export Pass, improvements to the Cap France Export program, and promotion of short-term credit insurance.

2026 also marks 80 years of public export guarantees, of which Bpifrance Assurance Export is the heir: 80 years of support, resilience and guidance for French companies in international markets.

Denis Le Fers, CEO of Bpifrance Assurance Export, presented a historic 2025 report:

• 29 billion euros of guarantees taken out in credit insurance
• over 1500 companies supported
• a record year for currency insurance

These results demonstrate the vitality of French companies as well as the 2026 ambitions which are part of the actions shared by the Minister.

Finally, Bertrand Dumont, Director General of the Treasury, reiterated the importance of collective action to make exports a sector that remains a priority and is better equipped to face global challenges.
