Internal guarantee

The Internal Guarantee supports companies operating in sectors particularly exposed to international competition. It allows French buyers to benefit from offers from French suppliers that are as competitive as those from foreign suppliers.

Guaranteed quota limited to 80%.

• Granting a loan to a French supplier:
  • equipment useful for the production and storage of low-carbon energy, low-carbon hydrogen, and the capture of carbon dioxide
  • or civil ships or spacecraft

The beneficiaries of this guarantee may be financial institutions granting a loan to the French buyer to finance the acquisition equipment useful for the production and storage of low-carbon energy, low-carbon hydrogen, the capture of carbon dioxide or of civil ships or spacecraft or the supplier itself, for operations involving a minimum French share of 20%.

Only operations for which competition exists between the French supplier and a foreign company benefiting from public export support are eligible for this guarantee.

The internal guarantee cannot be issued to companies in difficulty within the meaning of the Communication from the European Commission on companies in difficulty.

The premium is calculated according to the rules applicable to category 0 countries in accordance with market prices and is based on the financial health of the company, the securities offered and the duration of the guarantee, including 0,25% administrative costs.
