2024 Panorama of the Export Directorate
Supporting and assisting French companies in their conquest of international markets is the mission of the Bpifrance Export Department.
In addition to Bpifrance's financing and support solutions, Bpifrance Assurance Export provides, in the name, on behalf of, and under the supervision of the French government, a comprehensive range of export guarantees designed to secure commercial operations and strengthen the competitiveness of French exporters. These measures help secure international operations, cover commercial and political risks, and facilitate access to financing.
In 2024, this represents nearly 1500 companies supported by Export Insurance:
- € 68,9bn total outstanding credit insurance
- 176 guarantee requests accepted in credit insurance
- + 60 % insurance prospecting in the industrial sector
- 563 Guarantee requests accepted in export bond insurance and export pre-financing insurance
- 178 guarantee requests accepted in exchange insurance
