The new short-term “single risk” export guarantee offer is operational.Proposed by Bpifrance export insurance (BAE), this credit insurance policy must make it possible to directly secure the financing of a one-off commercial contract ("single risk") that the private market does not want to cover. Under certain conditions, of course.
This was one of the new products promised by Bpifrance assurance export (BAE), a subsidiary of Bpifrance specializing in the management of export guarantees on behalf of and in the name of the State, during its last Customer Meeting on June 27The short-term “single risk” guarantee has recently been operational and BAE is promoting it on social networks.
Designed to fill market gaps, in other words to offer a public solution when private credit insurers do not want to cover a transaction linked to an export contract, this guarantee is intended to cover commercial operations of One-off SMEs and mid-caps, with a risk duration of less than 24 monthsThis is a new addition to BAE's credit insurance range, which is very focused on covering medium/long-term contracts.
